Álvaro Urbano: TABLEAU VIVANT

We are pleased to collaborate with Alvaro Urbano and Sculpture Center on his exhibition open September 19, 2024 through March 24, 2025. Alvaro’s installation, which in part stems from a collaborative and open inquiry into the life and work of Scott Burton, gathers in a chorus of voices, both human and otherwise, which combine to form a ‘speculative bridge in both time and space.’ The exhibition will include a significant portion of Scott Burton’s Atrium Furnishment, a work that exists partly outside of time as it reaches to reclaim itself or perhaps perform differently in an uncertain future.
